To paraphrase Craig Ferguson, if you’re reading this, I’m sorry you don’t have cable — or a good lending library nearby.

My primary purpose here is to let you know a little about me. I will modify the “Who Am I?” page every once in a while, when I think the current text is too boring and I can think of something that might be a little more interesting.

The bibliography lists everything that had been published somewhere, but not the stories I have sold that never got to the light of day, as far as I know. If you find something out there that is not listed, let me know: I might not have been paid for that. It’s happened.

For that reason, I will mention in News when I sell something, but no details until the story is actually available or at least announced by the publisher. I’ve currently got about half a dozen stories that are hanging fire like that, waiting for the publisher to carry through. But, since often through no fault of their own, some stories get bought and sometimes even paid for and still never see daylight, I am not going to embarass the nice people who wanted to buy my stories but then couldn’t get them out, so no names.

Once I figure out how, I’ll post one of my already published stories here on the site, maybe for a month or so each, just to give you a chance to see what I’ve been up to. Once I’ve figured out how to do that without blowing things up, I’ll put up some novel sample chapters.

If you haven’t figured it out, I’m pretty new to this website thing. I can dig my way through an operating system kernel but these are a whole new set of toys for me, so it’s taking me some time to figure out how it all goes together.

Anyway, I’ll try to keep you up to date, so stop by when you can and see what I’ve stepped in lately.
